The past month...

So almost one month ago, Emma packed up her things and made the 16hr drive solo from the Gold Coast to her new home at Jackson Strong’s in Lockhart, NSW.

Emma’s been loving the change of the country life and most of all being able to take advantage of Jacko’s amazing compound which offers several 75ft hits, every kind of ramp you could think of, dirt jumps, foam pit and a supercross track. Can’t get any better than this!

With the help from the X Games Gold Medalist, Jackson has been helping Emma train hard and within the first week of her stay Emma had already achieved her goal, an Australia first so make sure you keep an eye out for her release!

During the past month there has been plenty happening in the small town of Lockhart with Jackson learning and pulling off his brand new trick (soon to be released), new jumps and toys being built plus loads of riding going on with a heap of riders always stopping in for a visit! Jacko even fulfilled his childhood dream and purchased himself a fire truck yesterday, which will make watering his compound effortless.

Last week Emma headed down to Melbourne with Jackson and her brother Matty ready for the Crusty Cup at the Formula1. The event went well with everyone riding awesome, unfortunately due to the extremely windy conditions ‘Best Trick’ was called off and the $40,000 prize money was split between the 5 qualifying riders.

Back in Lockhart now, Emma is getting back into her training ready for big things in 2012. Things are really looking up for the young female this year with plans to travel overseas and ride in the next few months.
